Scared to log on to my actual computer because it's having so many problems. But this could be another "Internet hiatus" for me. It'll do me some good to stay off ONTD for a while. *heh*

Interesting news, though. Mom & Dad are convincing me to buy my own home instead of renting. Scary to embark, but that's my goal in the next 4 to 6 months.

I'm seriously considering investing in one when I get my tax return (because hell, I'm going to need a new computer soon anyway). What should I know before taking the plunge? What makes a Mac better than a regular PC?

I'm having problems with Firefox, so for the moment (or until I can re-download Firefox), I'm using good ol' Internet Explorer. Meh, I can deal with IE, for now.

Norton 360 successfully installed. Computer running much better now. Had to get rid of Avast and a few other programs, but so far, so good ( Read more... )

Looks like my computer has been struck by another problem known as AntiVirus Live. It's harder for me to get off my computer than GreenAV was. I'm about ready to run my restore CD through at this point, but I probably will have to bite the bullet ( Read more... )
